Thank god! I was in the midst of deciding an upgrade when they brought out that abomination that is X.

Having used FCX, I won't call it FCPX. Having used it for a while now, I would not call it an abomination. It is truly fantastic program, with a caveat. As long as your are doing simpler projects, it works wonderfully. With simpler, straight forward projects it is way faster and easier to edit in FCX. FCX will be a great program, maybe even earn being called FCPX. However we are several versions and years away from that happening. Which is sad, when you look at where it came from.
