Appearance of Lieutenant Saru

Have we seen any hints yet on what Saru will look like?
Based on Doug Jones' previous work, my guess is he'll get the full-body treatment, much like he did for both of his "Pan's Labyrinth" characters, rather than a forehead-of-the-week.
I've also seen (I forget where) a makeup test for a possible Saru treatment - a prosthetic being constructed on a bust. (I don't know if it was a true report, however.) It had Andorian-style antennae, but no hair, and it was entirely solid green in color. Incidentally, it's appeared the same shade of green that would be used if his actual body was being replaced in post-production with some sort of CGI effects. Similar to what they used for the invisibility effect in Hollow Man, for example (I saw "making of" shots that showed Kevin Bacon's body covered in green paint.)
So I'm expecting something awesome. I hope they deliver.

I will be severely disappointed if Saru is anything short of the creative designs of Abe Sapien and the Pale Man and is instead a forehead of the week alien.

Oh wow Doug Jones on Star Trek?! Still wondering if a series could cover that in terms of time and budget but that would indeed be fantastic.

One thing is for sure. Doug Jones has portrayed some very interesting-looking characters:

My guess is that in DSC they will take advantage of his physicality and show us some unique looking alien and not another bumpy-forehead-alien-of-the-week that could have been portrayed by any other actor.

I hope they don't do a full body thing. He's an exotic-looking guy and would look cool with minimal makeup effects. I expect he'll be the Spock or Data of Discovery.
