Also on Apple.com if you want a better image.

Another one of those "lost footage" movies that must be awfully cheap to make, with the obvious exception being Cloverfield. I think one of the actors is Warren Christie from Happy Town and October Road.

What will be funny is how far some of the "Coast to Coast AM" types will go with this movie as proof of their conspiracies.

Actually Coast doesn't really bring up movies like this. It barely mentioned both "Paranormal Activity" movies when they came out. I'm sure other conspiracy minded sites and media will touch on this film.

I like the genre and concept but the fact they all seem to be horror / monster movies these days is a bit boring.

Why can't they find footage of an orgy or something...?

I'm definitely intrigues where they are going with the cosmonaut helmet and Soviet lunar lander (both which I recognized as such immediately). The rest? Meh... But the attention to period detail makes in interesting to me.

I haven't seen any of the first seventeen on DVD or anything. Are they out of print? Is Dimension really going to release a sequel to a series without putting out new DVDs of the previous entries?

You can still find the 13th on DVD.

This is a spoiler, but... they brought back Kevin Bacon for this one. He's the surprise villain.

I'm not too interested in it. When I read the title, I was surprised and hopeful to find a science fiction movie, only to find it's a horror movie. I don't know why they put those together in the same breath. :(

Science-fiction and horror can work out if done the right way. I'm thinking about the Alien movies. However, I have a soft spot for Event Horizon.
