Anyone watching "Shatner-Palooza" on EPIX today? :D

The Rock

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
It's pretty cool. They just showed Wrath of Khan, and right now they are showing that Outer Limits episode with him in it, and the rest of the movies/shows Shatner was in that will be shown today are:

Broken Angel
Disaster on the Coastliner
Iron Chef USA: Showdown in Las Vegas
Big Bad Mama
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
William Shatner's Gonzo Ballet
The Captains
Star Trek 2009 (I have no idea why this is included since Shatner wasn't in that one)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (again)
Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner

The one I wanna see out of that the most is "The Captains" because it's a brand new documentary made by William Shatner where he goes and sees what Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, and Scott Bakula are up to these days. Looks pretty neat.

I should also mention that "Shatner-Palooza" STARTS today, and goes on till the 30th!

Sadly, I won't be watching it because I am a Comcast subscriber and they haven't seen fit to add EPIX to their channel lineup. :-(

^^^Not as silly as you might think. Plans this evening will have me away from the computer. If I could DVR it I would.

Just finished watching "The Captains" that I DVR'd from earlier tonight and it was awesome. I think every Star Trek fan should watch it.

Shatner not only chats with Stewart, Brooks, Mulgrew, and Bakula......but he ALSO chats with Chris Pine! He even has an arm wrestling contest with Chris Pine LOL.

The best part was at the end when Shatner told Stewart that the greatest gift Stewart ever gave him was the epiphany that if Shatner were to die tomorrow, he would be completely fine with having been mostly known for being Captain Kirk. A very touching moment.

Thanks Backstept! Took a look on the EPIX website this morning and, after signing up for the free trial, was able to check out "The Captains" after all. Loved it!
