Actually, from that trailer, you can count three "someones" coming back.
I count 4 (possibly five) characters coming back in that promo.
What I want to know is why we are not seeing anything of the robot in the promo
Well, since the second half of the promo is fan-made in and of itself it doesn't tell us that anyone is coming back. Some of what it implies has been confirmed by other sources, though.
This is RTD. I assumed EVERYBODY was coming back
Only everybody? Doesn't seem epic enough. Unless you mean everybody ever associated with any of the first ten Doctors, plus Smith and Gillan, plus the entire cast of Blake's 7. And the kitchen sink, obviously.
The video's info section is clear that it's a fan-made trailer, and there's no way a fan would have access to usable new footage. Offhand I couldn't say where the shots of Tate and Cribbins come from, but to my mind Cribbins' beard doesn't look any different than it does in the final episodes of series four.
yes the shot of Donna looked new to me as well
any why would a fan do anything as subtle as jsut showing the Masters ring to hint at his return, fan trailers are not known for being subtle.
The second half is really truly a fan trailer, I promise, even if you don't personally recognize the shots used.
