Anyone seen the BBC Site lately?

:scream: Why the bloody hell are the clips on the site not available in the U.S.? I mean, I can almost understand it for clips of shows that haven't yet been seen over here or those that haven't even been sold to a U.S. outlet. But these have all aired (well, except for War Games) inumerable times in the States.

Cut the crap, BBC! :klingon:

^ Yeah, they seem to have started that when they redesigned the site. Prior to that I was able to view things like interviews and trailers and stuff. Now you can't see anything. I can understand if they won't allow us to watch actual episodes, but why not other video stuff?

I agree completely.

However, War Games has aired here a few times, at least. I remember watching it twice on PBS in the eighties.

to be frank whilst the US channels continue to do exactly the same thing, I see no reason the BBC should not do the same.

but yes, its very easy to see why fans are getting excited, and I would not be too surprised if they were right

Those types of policies only promote pirating bacuse people get upset and want to stick it to these studios BBC and some U.S. studios that do that.

quite true, its why I watch Chaser on YouTube, since they recently blocked people outside of Aus from watching it on their website.

Seeing the First and Fourth Doctors in definitely intriguing. I'm trying hard not to let my imagination run wild about the reasoning.

The website isn't correct. It has not been 40 years since we first travelled to Gallifrey and were introduced to the Timelords! :p

Actually, it has been 40 years since the first trip to Gallifrey: The War Games came out in 1969. While that wasn't the first instance meeting a Time Lord other than The Doctor and Susan, it's the first time we hear their name.

Anyone look at the link I posted above? Someone's coming back. TWO someones are coming back!
