Anyone read the novel "Martha in the mirror"?

I got "Martha in the Mirror" a couple days ago and just finished reading it. It is a neat little story. Anyone else like it?

Ever since I first saw the cover of this book, I looked forward to reading it, and while I did enjoy it in the end, it fell below my expectations. I was really anticipating a big Martha story, but the "Martha in the mirror" aspect of the plot really wasn't a large part of the story. There were some interesting elements in the story, though, but as far as companion's-names-in-the-title novels go, I think The Stone Rose wins out. I have The Story of Martha next in my reading pile and I have higher hopes for that one.

cut short

I guess "The man in the mirror" might have been a better title since Manfred Grieg's connection with the mirror was more important than Martha's. But I also found several elements of the story that I really liked. Bill and Bott brought a neat comedic element to the story. The mirror itself was interesting. The story of Janna and Tylda was touching. And of course, the central theme of war and peace and being able to let go was very good.
