Anyone Here Have A Will?

Personally, I've never needed one.

My pension lists my wife and daughter as my beneficiaries.

And in this state, all my possessions would pretty much go to them anyway.

I figure if I die before her my science fiction collection becomes one of the largest single collections for sale on ebay in recent history though.

What state are you in? Why don't you have a will? If you die its a headache for the kids and spouse.

Right now I dont have one, and I don't have a whole lot I can give anyways, so there's not much reason to have one.

yep i've a will everything, though not much gose to my partner.
apart from my columbo dvd's which my mum has bagged when i go
and the stargate dvds which my niece has already bagged when i go

Not a personal will since I have no dependents, but several important chunks of my estate have various specific clauses in their structure should I die. I really should get round to drawing up a proper will to prevent the state getting the rest.

My current one has everything going to my wife and child. I need to get a new one drawn up... basically I want to make sure my daughter gets everything (not that it's worth much) and ensure her mother can't touch it.

I don't trust my ex to act responsibly and as spiteful as it is, she's taken a hell of a lot from me so far, she ain't getting anything more.

No i don't. But i think that at my age, 24, still living at home, what i have is gonna be split up among my family. But hell, i'll be dead; i won't care anymore.

I'm poor! Not much my family can get in the event of my death. They do know that I want to be cremated in such a case though.

The only thing of value that I have is musical instruments and equipment, about $1500 worth, all of which goes to my brother. I also have to life insurance policies totaling $20,000, and a 401(k) that's tied to one of the insurance policies. The only thing that's an issue is what to do with my body, which I'm not exactly sure how to arrange. In the event of my untimely death (by "untimely," I mean once JuanBolio finds out what his sister and I have been doing when he's not around), my parents want to bury me, whereas I want them to dispose of me as cheaply as possible. I'm dead, I don't need a $4,000 box in the ground to decompose in. As far as I can tell, donating myself to medical research. I think when that's done they throw in free cremation. $20,000 can be put to much better use than disposing of my corpse...
