Anyone had anything especially unlucky happen to them today?

Anyone here particularly superstitious and/or paraskavedekatriaphobic?



Me, I've neither had good luck nor bad luck today. I suppose I'm a non-lucky person.

My meeting in Frankfurt finished early, I managed to get an earlier flight back that left on time and landed early, and the traffic back from Heathrow wasn't too bad... That's in contrast to the last few trips I've made over the last few weeks where the flight home was either cancelled or really late leaving (or I got snowed in so couldn't travel at all) so overall, I think Friday the 13th is a good day for me.

You know there's another one next Month? Maybe I'll meet the perfect woman that day...

My luck improves! Normally, I fly from City Airport if I can... the only reason I didn't today was because the only late flights back from Frankfurt (after 6pm) are to Heathrow - like I said, my meeting finished early.

I broke my favourite vase this morning. My curtains caught on it and knocked it over. Then I cut my finger on the glass, and it took about half an hour to stop bleeding. And I got blood on my curtains. Now I can't find a substantial piece of the broken glass. It has to be somewhere around my bed, but I'm damned if I can find it.

I had a great day. The pain in the ass assistant at work quit, and I never have to see her again. Also, my step sister surprised us all by coming home for the weekend. It's been ages since I last saw her.
