Anyone getting the Season 5 DVDs?

The set it out today! Best Buy has a bonus disc, and then there's the Dharma Initiation Super set which is like $30 more than the regular set, but apparently has a lot of fun extra stuff.

Anyone getting the DVDs, and if so, which ones?

I only have the first season on DVD so I've decided that at this point I'll just wait for the complete series set. :D

I was going to get the Best Buy set with the bonus disc, but it sounds like it didn't get shipped or immediately sold out at the stores near me. Sometimes the Best Buy bonus discs are so hard to track down.

I've decided to wait for a complete Blu-Ray set since everything is online now. I do have the first four on DVD though.

I'm probably getting it as a Christmas gift, so I have to wait. I also don't know which version I'll end up getting, but my guess is whichever version is the cheapest. I'll be happy either way, since I have every other season, so I'm not going to be happy until I at least have one version of every season.

I was going to get one from the family for Christmas but I told them to hold off. I have the first 4 seasons but maybe I'll sell them and get the grandiose super set when it eventually comes out.

Amazon had a 24 hour special, all five seasons for $73! Since we already own 1-3 we're selling them off, which means we'll end up spending about $7.50 each for season 4 and 5. That's frickin' sweet :D

I'm waiting for the super-duper full set that's bound to come out. I want commentary, when it's all done, that tells me exactly what they were thinking as they were putting stuff together.

I purchased my set. I'd re-watched all of LOST up through season 4 and last night started on my season 5 set. I've also been posting on a LOST board as this forum is so mind-numbingly slow most of the time. :(

I'm watching...and discussing.....and I'll be ready when LOST comes back for season 6 in February.

We managed to locate the bonus disc version at a local Best Buy, so yay! :D I might be watching some Lost with my roommate tonight.

I definitely see the wisdom is waiting for the full series set, but since there are such big gaps between seasons, I like having the individual sets to go back and watch episodes here and there to refresh my memory. And I'm impatient... I have yet to own a full series set for any show I liked, because I get all the seasons one by one. :o

^ I have a new policy of waiting for full series sets, even if I have to wait several years. That's what I'm doing with Lost.

I think I've only seen a handful of episodes more than once. I'm waiting until the series is over to watch the whole thing again.

I received my Blu-Ray set in the mail last night, a birthday present from my parents. If only my player would actually make use of some of the more useful special features, I'd be a happy Campe.

I'll probably pick up the set because I just can't resist having it. Eventually I plan to sell off all my Lost DVDs when my upgrade to Bluray happens, but that's still about a year off, cost-wise. For now I'm more than happy with the DVDs. :D

I hadn't bought any of the seasons on DVD yet, and now that I've finally upgraded to an HDTV, I might as well wait for a complete Blu-ray set.

I love Lost, but I completely echo this statement. I thought about putting my money down for season 5, but it's much the same way I felt about buying Battlestar Galactica (after season three). I knew there was going to be the "mega set", and now I own the entire show in glorious blue ray. ;)

I can only imagine what kind of extras they're going to stuff into the series set that were not a part of any of the season set releases we've seen so far for Lost.

Yes, of course. But it'll probably be around Thanksgiving time next year. I wait until I can pick them up for 20 bucks or less per season.
