anyone familiar with the IGF clan in Star Wars multiplayer gaming?

I'm thinking about joining, but I don't know if I like the "military" structure they claim to have. Is it enforced in any way? I play multiplayer now very regularly, and I like th idea of being on a team, but I'm unsure about IGF. Anyone have any suggestions?
