Anyone else glad to go back...

Shatnertage

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
...to their pre-October avatar?

My vengeful ram was starting to freak me out a little bit...it feels nice to be back to the old confused/demoralized ram.

A little bit, but in my case I've changed it to go with my name. My Halloween avatar was starting to look a bit creepy, but the scary thing is, I was almost getting used to it.

Oh, I like mine. I need to make a new one ... that's tonight's project. But I'll miss MirrorKes7.

^ That is a great avatar--I love the look in her eyes, like she's deciding whether to laugh at you or whack you in the head with a baseball bat.

I'm sure relieved not to have to see some other people's Halloween avatars any more, but I sort of miss Kreacher. Ziyal almost seems too sweet now.

Go back to my pre-October avatar? I never go back, darling. ;)

But I am glad to feel free to change my avatar as much as I want to again. Wearing the same one for an entire month was getting quite tedious. Next year I'll have to have a couple at least to cycle through.

I am glad to go back to my username. No more Transformer comments. :p

I'm about to change mine, but I was getting used to The Invisible Man.

Edit- This may not last, but for now I've thrown up Dale Cooper running into a llama. I may stick with Cooper though, A beloved character and he was my avatar for a long time previously.

I obviously never bothered, but I must admit it's a little jarring to see everyone else's old names back. On a few threads with people I don't know too well I'm like "are you the one I started this conversation with?":wtf:

^ Why not go with the purple version?

I haven't changed it in ages. I don't remember how long it has been now. I used to have an avatar of the real Finn as a pup, the night I bought him home.

I've been re-watching the series recently, and I thought that scene was one of the funniest things I've ever--uh--seen.

That must have been a fluke, the way the llama looked at Cooper, snorted, and then walked on. And if so, I'm impressed with Maclachlan's ability to stay in character and not crack up.

I think it was a fluke too, and the llama was just to walk through. Maclachlan nails the moment. Ontkean (Truman) looks for an instant like he may lose it, and pulls the trick of looking to the ground to regain composure. It's fantastic planned or otherwise.

I gave up on avatars a while back. I mean, I still have one, because I know what it's like to get used to seeing them and associating them with the person. But I've switched them off on my end, and I just have my own picture as mine now for others to "enjoy". I'm getting old and persnickety, and animated avatars get on my nerves. ;)
