So a couple years ago (2014-2015) I kicked into shape and did P90x and experienced a seismic shift in my relationship with food and fitness. I went from pushing 240 to 180:
I gained a few back over the last three years and decided to jump into Whole30 to kickstart a meal plan to go w/ some light weight training -- and I'm loving it!
Just finished the full 30 days with my wife, but managed to eat some great food in the process:
Filet mignon and baby skin potatoes w/ asparagus and mushrooms
Almond-flour chicken tenders with baked sweet potato fries and brussels sprouts!
Lettuce tacos w/ homemade guac!
Grilled salmon with cauliflower mash!
Braised beef shank!
Meatballs and squash w/ avocado pesto!
Anyone else doing Whole30? Any good recipes you've encountered?
I'm 5 days now into our SECOND Whole30
