A couple months ago, my Internet browser did something strange. First of all, it's the Verizon Yahoo! browser which runs with an IE kernel. Anyway, it's a multi-tabbed browser just like IE7 (actually before IE7). I had, IIRC, 7 start group tabs, and the browser started to become unstable with it hogging memory and running into my virtual memory due to I think a browser game I was running. Anyway, one day I closed all the tabs, but one. And then eventually powered down for the day.
The next day, when I powered up and relaunched the browser, I had lost all but one start group tab. Just like I ended the previous day with. I tried re-adding my start groups tabs, and only got two to stick. TrekBBS being one of them, ironically. If I try to add any more, they won't even remain in the group if I reopen the tool to set them.
Now lately, I've noticed that it won't even keep bookmarks I've set after I close the browser and reopen it. (I think.) I have just today reinstalled the software from the Verizon site, and it may have fixed that problem, but it still won't keep the start group tabs. Actually, this feature has been problematic ever since I've had this browser. It's only been luck that the tabs have stuck when they do.
Any ideas? This whole problem seemed to have started back about the time XP SP3 was released.
