Any useful chronological lists?

I'm trying to collect the Peter David TOS comics and wanna organize a marathon to start with Star Trek V and end with Star Trek VI, and read the comics inbetween. But I can't find anything online to help in this endeavour?

Furthermore, I just don't seem find any useful places that have compiled comic-verse or novel-verse timelines on to help guide me through the Trek-verse. Why is that?

I tried linking to the ST Comics Checklist, but it seems to be down.

Anyway, it's pretty straightforward. DC Volume 1 picks up shortly after The Wrath of Khan, with The Search for Spock taking place between issues 8 & 9 and The Voyage Home taking place between #36 & 37; the comic storylines dovetail into and out of the movies, though with some continuity glitches. Peter David takes over with #48 and continues to the end of Vol. 1 (discounting a final inventory issue set during the 5-year mission, written by Martin Pasko). Then comes the ST V adaptation, then DC Vol. 2, most of which takes place between ST V and ST VI. It resets to the TOS era late in its run, but that's long after Peter left the series and Howard Weinstein took over (with Kevin Ryan taking over about the time of the TOS-era reset).

Wixiban is my go-to site for released content. I don't know if this fulfills your brief but that's a list of comics: https://www.wixiban.com/comics.htm

This website doesn't show the order in which to follow the stories in chronological order.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. The comics pretty much progress in chronological order by default, except for the occasional flashback story which is obvious because it's in the 5-year mission era (or the TMP era in the case of Walter Koenig's issue of DC Vol. 1). Also, Vol. 2 #34 is a fill-in story that features "Mr. Sulu" still aboard the Enterprise just after Vol. 2 #30-33 "Veritas," where Sulu got promoted to Excelsior captain, so that presumably goes earlier.

If you're asking about how the comics fit with the novels, there's no way to define that, because they weren't written with the intention of acknowledging each other. Well, the one exception is Excelsior: Forged in Fire, which was implicitly written to fit in between , and #35-40 "The Tabukan Syndrome" (collected as Tests of Courage), the first comics story featuring Captain Sulu.

I once made a list of Star Trek comics set in the movie era in (as best I can tell) chronological order. My caveat here is that I haven't read everything yet, so I am relying a bit on Internet synopses and such for some placement. (And also I was trying to avoid splitting up specials, so some of these contain multiple stories set at different points in time.) But here's the stretch from Star Trek V to VI.
  • Star Trek Movie Special vol. 2 #1
  • Star Trek Annual vol. 2 #3
  • Star Trek vol. 2 #1-12
  • Star Trek Annual vol. 2 #1
  • Star Trek vol. 2 #13-15, 17-29, 34
  • Star Trek Special #3
  • Star Trek: Debt of Honor
  • Star Trek vol. 2 #30-33, 35-48
  • Star Trek Special #1
  • Star Trek vol. 2 #49-63, 65-72
  • Star Trek Annual vol. 2 #6
  • Star Trek: The Next Generation Annual #6
  • Star Trek Special #2
  • Star Trek: Captain's Log: Sulu
  • Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell #1-5

@Emperor-Tiberius Hello. Enjoy my site…

startreklitverse.com

Caveat- this only includes the comics that share explicit reference the each other, or other parts of the interconnecting Litverse web, but that is most of the DC stuff.
