Any TOS novels where the adversary is vengeful machine?

Over the years the TOS crew has destroyed many artificially intelligent machines. I'm curious if there are any novels where an artificial being seeks revenge for all the AI machines they've destroyed.

Well, in my Ex Machina, the leader of an AI-worshipping cult seeks revenge on Kirk as "the Godkiller." Other than that, though, I can't think of anything.

There is a TNG novel called Immortal Coil by Jeffrey Lang that might be of interest to you along these lines and it has TOS tones to it :)

The Voyager novel Cybersong also features a lonely AI.

Or how about the novelization of Star Trek: The Motion Picture?

And its follow-up in the Cold Equations trilogy and The Light Fantastic.

The ENT novel Rosetta features a mysterious military AI fighting on behalf of its deceased creators.
