Any Regular Viewers Of PBS?

I watch Masterpiece Classic and Masterpiece Mystery regularly. I will DVR them when they conflict with the Walking Dead.

I enjoy Nature, and I love to watch the Last of the Summer Wine.

If there's one regret I have when it comes to PBS, it's that it's too late to discover Downton Abby. I hear how great that show is and it's already in the third season so it's too late to jump in now.

No, it isn't. You can catch up via Amazon.

Years ago was another story but my local prefers Lawrence Welk over Red Dwarf these days.:angryrazz: I like the Nova/science type shows, I just watched one on drones, and some of the history stuff.

Grew up watching PBS. Sesame Street, Mister Rodgers Neighborhood, 321 Contact... only some of the shows that I grew up watching on PBS. Still watch PBS, Antiques Roadshow, Bill Moyers journal, Downton Abby (the acting is good), Inspector Morse, etc. It's worth having around.

PBS... it's free and no ads

Except for the ad at the beginning of most shows and the pledge drives, both of which could technically be considered ads.
PBS has also started inserting short ads in the middle of some shows too, such as Great Performances, but it's generally just in the middle of something over two hours long.

Maybe, but I don't have Amazon Prime. Wasn't thinking about getting it either.

Maybe you can catch up via marathon? PBS did marathons leading up to series 3. Perhaps they will do that again?
