Any Messages for Bill and Leonard?

Frontier

Vice Admiral

Going to see Bill and Leonard tomorrow at the Creation Cherry Hill convention. It'll be my second time seeing Leonard, third time seeing Bill. Been ages for Leonard, haven't seen him in 9 YEARS. Saw Bill just last November, lol. Hoping to get some tid-bits on Trek 11, perhaps something to quash my anxiety about the likely reboot crapfest that it will be, IMHO...

Anyone have any messages? :p

Just tell them "thanks." I learned a lot from them, both in TOS and in how they live.

And you could ask Nimoy about that "forked dick" thing, if the opportunity pops up.

Joe, punning

YES! Ask Leonard his thoughts on working on MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE. It's the most-forgotten time in his career.

I'm jealous.

I really wanted to go to that Cherry Hill convention this weekend but cannot attend. I found out about it too late. I fear that the days of both Nimoy and Shatner appearing together are waning rapidly and I'll never get the opportunity to see these two together. :(

They still have tickets for sale, SpockG60. If you can muster the funds together.

I really think this'll be the last time we see Kirk and Spock together outside of a mecca-con like Vegas or Grand Slam.

If you can, go for just Sunday at least, and see them.

Thanks works for me as well and would be what I would tell them if I was there. Both of them have entertained me for decades now.

"Bill and Leonard?" Do you piss in the same pot as them?

You get over saying "Mister Shatner" or "Mister Nimoy" after you've met as many people as I have.

I was going to say "thank you both for everything you've done" and some pompous statement about how great is their work but surely they had enough of that. So I'll just go with "Hello from Belgium, you have a fair share of fans there." ;)

My message would be that Bill and Leonard need to collaborate together on an plot for one of those Shatnerverse novels. Their take on the ultimate idea for a novel about Kirk and Spock. They do the first draft or outline and let the Reeves or someone do the finished product. It would make a great book to hit the shelves after ST XI came out. ;)

i agree with ya. It was good with him in it. Everyone, even some bio sites neglect to mention this or his photography.

Frontier, I hope you have a super time - and I'm soo jealous - it's being held very close to me and I can't go :(

I'm looking forward to your post after the convention!!

"Do you know who's replacing you?"

Correct answer: NOBODY! :D

But I'd like to know who might be playing the new versions of Kirk and Spock. I guess we'll find out in bout a week.

Do you know about Carl Spock?

Either of you been to/wil lgo to TrekBBS.com

For Shatner: "How'd you feel about that crapfest that passed as your "Roast" on Comedy Central where people you don't even know roasted you and most did so poorly?

Well, I'm back! I did post about it over on the Omega Sector, but I'm going to hold off on a link because I sent in a note about it to TrekToday's news, and they usually pick up on my stuff. Heh.

Some good stuff though. And I'll add more details here, once TrekToday has had a chance to post on it.

If they don't post on it, well then, we'll have to write some angry notes! :p

I will say this...

THEY WHERE FRAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HYSTERICAL! FUN! Just totally awesome! The chemistry we saw as Kirk and Spock is like, 1/10th of their real chemistry! I mean, wow... it was fraking awsome... truly something that I will always treasure to remember - and I've met a lot of trek actors before, so I've got lots of memories - but this takes one of the top slots. ;)

It was glorious.

I wholeheartedly agree with Frontier. The BEST convention I have ever attended! The rapport between the two is quite extraordinary. Nimoy and Shatner were both extremely gracious not only on stage but also in photo op/autograph lines. I have seen Shatner at three previous cons and he was not as animated and energized as he was today, despite only three hours rest. Shatner even had his wife join him and Leonard on stage towards the end of their comedy act. I hope others who were fortunate to be there also continue share their thoughts.

(FYI: This post is edited somewhat from another one I posted regarding the con on the trekmovie site)

I would have handed Lennie a picture of Carl Spock and "axed" him for an autograph.
