Any iPhone Users Know the Answer?

My iPhone 6 Plus won't charge. I've done a reset several times, pressing the Home and Power buttons and holding them for 30 seconds, and afterward it still won't charge. I've checked to see if the port needs cleaning out and put something in there to remove any debris and still no charging. A desktop PC gives the message "USB device not recognized." Not sure what to do next. The charge cord doesn't have any damage. I've looked up some things online and most advice says to do a hard reset, which I've done without any change. Anyone know what might be the problem?

Try a different cable. My iPhone 6 and iPad Mini stopped charging on certain cords. The indicators turned green like they were charging, but they wouldn't charge. So I tested all my cords until I found two good ones. No trouble since.

Just in case it's not the cable, which I agree is likely, go to an Apple Store and let them check it out.
Is your warranty still valid?

Yeah I'd go with trying a different charger too. Also try plugging it into a wall if you're charging from a computer, or vice versa.

It ended up being the charge cord. I went into an AT&T store and it worked on one of theirs. I looked at their cords and they wanted $30 for most of them and $19 for a 4 ft. cord. I told the guy I'd pass. He said "Are you gonna go with no power?" I said, "No, I'm going over to Walmart to compare prices." I got a 6 ft. cord there for $12. All is well.

There are some good third party Lightning cables out there now, keep a spare somewhere just in case.

I have at least 3 good 30 and 19 pinners around at all times.
