Any idea why SPIKE is skipping "Parallax"?

Here we are, the start of a new run as of yesterday afternoon, and today they're already skipping episodes.

"Parallax" isn't shown as airing today, or next week, or any time soon.

They're running TIME AND AGAIN and PHAGE this afternoon.

Time and Again
Friday May 18, 4PM
After being hit by the shockwave of a devastating planet-wide explosion, Voyager investigates. While on the surface, Janeway and Paris are accidentally 'shifted' one day into the past.

Phage
Friday May 18, 5PM
During an away mission in the search for dilithium crystals, Neelix is attacked and his lungs are surgically removed by a disease-ridden race of aliens known as the Vidiians. His only hope for survival is if the crew of Voyager can get them back.

The Cloud
Monday May 21, 4PM
In the search for omicron particles to boost the ship's energy supplies, Voyager inadvertently injures a space-faring life form.

Eye of the Needle
Monday May 21, 5PM
The discovery of a micro-wormhole leading to the Alpha Quadrant allows the crew to communicate with a sceptical and paranoid Romulan. The crew is elated when they believe they might be able to transport to the Romulan ship, however, all is not as it seems.

The Cloud
Monday May 21, 2AM
In the search for omicron particles to boost the ship's energy supplies, Voyager inadvertently injures a space-faring life form.

Ex Post Facto
Tuesday May 22, 4PM
Tom Paris is accused of a murder he claims he did not commit. His sentence is to re-live the last few moments of his victim's life every 14 hours through a memory transplant.

Any idea why they'd skip PARALLAX?

They showed it already.

Because Endgame is two hours, SPIKE wanted to show it all at one time. So instead they showed "Parallax" the day before "Endgame" too keep it within a two hour block.

Oh, for cryin' out loud!

That makes no sense!

Voyager has an even number of episodes! It should have all worked out!

Drat!

I'd started recording them too...

Grrr....

Thanks for the explanation.

*sigh*

Spike is now showing 9 episodes a week, so even/odd does not compute.

I think it's went FUBAR because sometimes SPIKE shows 2 eps. back to back while other times they just show one.

Ugh, they are not being aired in sequence? How rude!

Oh well, at least I get to watch three hours of VOY everyday and SPike was nice enough to air VOY today (a Friday) thanks for the early birthday present, Spike! :D

Ummm....

Nobody said they're being aired out of order.

What was said was that they aired PARALLAX early so that ENDGAME could run in one day.

Also, VOYAGER runs only two hours in the afternoon.

Where are you getting the third hour from?

Yes, but while I kinda understand why, showing "Parallax" before "Endgame" and not after is showing them out of order.

Which seems to be, at least now, episodes that are the same as some running during the day.

Gotta go.

Nelix is about to lose his lungs.

LOL Now he's got holo lungs and he can't move! Creeeeeeeeeepy.

Anyway, I watch the third Voy ep on Space, the imagination station. (Canadian channel)

No wonder I'm fuckin' addicted to Voy, eh?

And today, they showed 2 episodes... :wtf: Guess somebody at Spike likes the Kes era over the Seven era. It was near the middle of S3 that they stopped running 2 on Fridays, and now they stop those wretched marathons when Kes shows up again...

^ It's not going to last. The schedule for next week shows "Police Videos" in the 4:00 pm EST timeslot.

I swear, SPIKE is a joke.

I don't know if you're being serious or not. But seriously, what's the 'bigger joke?' Star Trek Voyager fans that demand the second repeat of their favorite TV show be in chronological order or the obsessive fans themselves?

DS9 I noticed isn't playing this week because the Godfather series is replacing the 10 a.m. time slot. Do you blame them - isn't DS9 in their 5 or 6 repeat now of the same series?

I mean, good lord how many times can they continue to repeat the same TV series before advertisers say 'I'll take a pass' on this thank you very much?

If I was in the marketing / Advertising sales dept of Spike I'd demand they either take the damn thing off or shake things up a bit like themed cross series marathons like "Best of the Q" or "Best of the Klingons" or "Best of the Borg" etc. and repackage the damn thing.
