Any good previews/trailers for Z-War?

As a huge Walking Dead fan who's in big time withdrawls, I cannot wait for Z-War this fall which will preimere in Mid-Dec 2012.

However, most of the preview sites seem lame and I haven't seen any previews at the at theatres either for the film. Why?

Anyone heard anything good/bad/indifferent about this film so far? Any trailers for the film?

One trailer I watched re-used footage from the film Deep Impact where Morgan Freeman [the President] was being evacuated to the 'caves.' Hopefully that one isn't legit?

Anyway, any news about this film?

I ran into World War Z on IMDB.com last night, and I think it still says 2013. Film has been through Development Hell, so, it's great to see it's finally coming sometime, soon-ish.

Only thing I've heard about it, is that they reworte JMS' script, because it was too faithful, and therefore, not commercial enough

^^ Not any more - they pushed it back a couple of months ago ....

Paramount Reschedules 'World War Z' from December to June 2013

Well, the JMS drafts (way back in 2008/9) were noncommercial in the sense that no-one wanted to fund them - and to give Plan B their due they did spend a year or so trying to get it off the ground before Carnahan was hired, to basically turn it into a PG13-rated ticking clock movie where Brad Pitt runs around trying to stop the War from happening at all!

Given the talent involved it may not outright suck (and seeing Glasgow and Falmouth impersonating Philadelphia and Mumbai rsepectively should certainly be amusing), but expecting it to be recognisable as World War Z seems ludicrous at this point. :(

That sucks, thanks though. Having it primere on Dec 21, 2012 would have been a great lead in to the alleged real life ending of the world with the impending Mayan calendar.

Regarding it not recognizing the Books - I understand why Hollywood sometimes has to deviate from the plotlines of a very intricate book series to make it work for a 2 hour film - however an apocoplyse story come year end I would have thought would have been a sure fire hit with the public.
