Any girls here become a stipper to pay for college?

This is a big cliche. It's pretty unrealsitc I suspect, which is why I am still surprised a show like "West Wing" basically went with this idea back in season one when they had the actress who would later go and play Dr. Cuddy on "House" basically living out this cliche. I also recently saw this play out in "Ninja Cheerleaders." The Ninja cheerleaders basically stip at night to earn enough money to get into Brown University. Thankfully for them their Ninja master(Mr Sulu) just happens to own a strip club and lets them work there.

Has anyone here every done this for real? Does anyone know a stripper who is doing it just to pay for college?

I don't know any girl who does stripping to help pay for education. At least I knew this friend girl of mine who used to work at a strip club as a waiter, and she did that while attending university. Although I doubt her waiting tables helped pay for university alone, but rather to just get by. It was her choice.

With the lack of financial support from family or denied of student loans, there'll be some willing to dance naked on stage, or even join an adult escort agency, erotic massage, etc for large sums of money. I think with the rising cost of tuitions, some people would go down to great length to help pay for education.
 
I knew one girl who stripped her way through NYU, and several who went to foot fetish parties. Heck, I considered foot-fetish parties myself -- $300 an hour to let guys massage your feet? Sweet deal. Ultimately not for me, though.
