Anti-smoking group wants MMPA to give WOLVERINE R rating.

Yeah I agree it's pretty retarded, but don't pin all this PC crap on us liberals. Conservatives have their Parents Television Council (or whatever the heck it's called) that wants to take all the swear words, nudity, and violence out of TV.

Personally I'm sick of both of them.

So, they want smoking, which is legal, to get an automatic R rating? In that case, any movie that depicts drug use, violence, alcohol usage, any sort of crime, or any sort of nudity (since porn techinally has an age limit on it) needs to be R too. No reason to stop just with smoking. Of course, when this is all done, Everything will be rated R. Silly sods.

I can't help but think that we'd progress far more as a society if all the people who spend all their efforts trying to get a "bad" thing banned or stopped concentrated that energy on starting something "good". But who decides what is bad?
