20 lbs. is extraordinarily heavy for a model this size, if the subtitle is accurate.

My other thought: I want this so I can act out scenes from "Requiem for Methuselah." But I can't justify the cost, and there is absolutely no place it could go in my small apartment but the floor.
 
I ordered one during their crowdsourcing days. Was so glad they reached their goal--although they had to reduce it several times. Now just have to wait for about a year!
 
I've seen it. And until I see an actual finished product without seams I wouldn't spend a penny, especially for that kind of money.

I've seen Polar Lights 1/350 kits that look better at this point.

The seams were on a prototype, but they said they won't be on the final product. Given that Gary Kerr is involved, it's mostly metal, and a limit production run, I figured it was worth the gamble. I suspect it'll be worth it!
