I don't know how many times I've tried to read Dragonflight. Four? Five? I've never been able to finish it. I don't think I've even gotten to the halfway point. The pseudo-feudal society -- yes, she justifies the centuries-long social stagnation -- doesn't sit well with me because it feels too forced and inauthentic. What I'm trying to say is that I feel that, at some point well before that time, humanity would have figured out how to survive a Turn without getting bombed back into the Stone Age.
