Don't forget Tim Russ and his excellent work on *Voyager's* "Living Witness".

Ralph Senensky, his batting average is incredible for directing TOS winners.

Mike Vejar was by far my favorite modern director. He did "Rocks and Shoals" "Taking into the Wind" and quite a few other great episodes

Modern Trek Directors??

I'd say it's a toss up between David Livingston and Rick Kolbe.

I did quite enjoy Robert Picardo's directorial outings too, and Jonathan Frakes knows his way around a good shot setup.

I have trouble giving directors much credit for episodic TV. Often, there seems to be a formula that the shows develop and then incoming directors simply follow that formula. Occasionally a new effect or something is added (e.g. Let That Be Your Last Battlefield's Batman homages), but for the most part I have trouble figuring who directed anything unless I know ahead of time. Anyone else feel this way?
