An unique way to resolve a TV romantic triangle

For once, I would want to see a TV show to resolve its main romantic triangle by having the three characters form a three-way relationship instead of one person having to choose between the two. Doing something like that, in my opinion, would make things interesting.

This topic was brought on by this trilogy I read called the Jenny Casey trilogy by Elizabeth Bear in which three of the main characters were in a romantic triangle until two of the women decide to share the man they love with each other.

I think a more unique way to resolve a romantic triangle is girl1 gets pregnant by guy, guy suggests abortion and girl goes crazy and kills guy. Girl2 goes to guy's apartment and finds him dead and goes crazy and cuts off his head and puts it in a duffel bag. Girl2 texts girl1 and meets her and then has her look in duffel bag and see guys head and while distracted girl2 kills girl1. Girl2 then cuts open girl1 to find out if she was telling the truth about being pregnant. Girl2 then takes duffel bag with guys head out on a sailboat with her. The End.

Write the script, make Tarantino direct it!

Drama thrives on... well... drama. If they aren't fighting, it's not drama.

IRL, we have an Aussie actor called Jack Thompson (been in a couple moves , married Anakin's mom in Star Wars), back in the 70s he was in a long term 3 way relationship with sisters. It was a bit of a low-key scandal, but everyone accepted it. One moved out after, ooo, years.

Anyway, the first sentence I think is the answer you were looking for.

Interesting thought. I certainly felt that way at the end of Imagine Me & You. (It's extremely rare for there to be a juicy femslash pairing in a movie and yet I end up rooting for her to end up with the guy instead. While the 2 women made a mildly cute couple, they never adequately addressed the issue of sexuality to my satisfaction. Plus, unlike in most of these lesbian discovery movies, her husband was actually a really nice guy.)

Unfortunately, stable, respectful, polyamorous relationships are very rare and are viewed with extreme distrust, at least here in the U.S. Hell, even the pro-gay marriage advocates won't touch that one.
