Loved his rantings about the "dangers" of space travel when he first met Kirk in the recruit transport.

And his chasing Kirk around with the hypospray and tricorder continually injecting Kirk with stuff.

I liked pretty much everyone, but with Bones always being my favorite character in Trek, Urban truly inherited the character.

Yeah, although his line in the trailer confused me the first few times I heard it when I thought he said, "Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and Cylons."

Totally agree! When he was cast, I thought "That New Zealander doesn't look anything like McCoy."

He so clearly embodied Leonard McCoy that he took the character to a whole new dimension. McCoy was probably my least favorite of the TOS major characters crew. Now Leonard McCoy is my favorite. Mr. Urban, you were truly outstanding. You have mastered your craft and I bow to you.
