Remember the DS9 episode where they go back to TOS period? With all the tribbles? What if in one "parallel" universe, the DS9 crew (Sisko, Bashir, O'Brien, Jadzia) came back to the TOS era, at the same time, but in Abrams' Star Trek universe? Even if you don't like that idea, at least it sounds perfectly reasonable given the "two" universes, no?
