The Doctor's Sgt Pepper outfit is hilarious to me.

I started watching it, then had enough after about a minute.

Conceptually, a child companion is an intriguing idea that should be done, but for production realities never will.

Same. I was laughing hysterically at 1:28, but gave up shortly after as well.

The comics from the 1960s had featured child companions, John and Gillian Who... The original run likely avoided using child actors for reasons including, but not limited to, the 1963 Child Welfare act, regarding Entertainment: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1963/37/part/II/crossheading/entertainment Carole Ann Ford was 23 when she took the role of the allegedly 15-year-old Susan. (If she's the same species as the Doctor, then she could easily be far older, FWIW.)

The same comics also had a "race" of robots called "Trods", which also happened to run on static electricity...
