The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (2017) (TV Series)
Amy did the good episodes of Girlmore Girls, so this Amazon Prime series is more of that, but set in the 1960s, without a hint of that Teen Angst crap which was pouring out of Rory's eyes, ears and nose. That kid was unbearable, and I have no idea why Paris didn't grind her down into a dozen hamburger patties.
A 60s house wife freaks out over her husbands infidelity, ranting on stage about the unfairness of the world, to the applause of all, and then decides to become a comedienne to become fulfilled, now that her jerk husband has run off with a younger woman.
They talk really fast, I recognise most of the actors, and it's a really coulourful journey.
Oh and Alex "Lois from family Guy" Borstein is amazing.
