I'm not finished it yet, but the first 12 seconds told me everything... It's the Young Miss Patty Show... GLORIOUS!!!

Then there's Alex Borstein making a walk through as a bitter prostitute, and *&% me but it's Allan "the phasers will be ready on Tuesday" Ruck as the male lead love interest.

And then it gets better.

Kelly Bishop is playing Miss Patty as well!

It's a Patty off!

First and foremost.

Everyone is talking at regular speed.

Amy has learnt her lesson.

Basic plot.

Vegas show girl moves to her new husbands small town and works in her motherinlaws ballet studio...

It's a girl drama.

An interesting choice in the female lead... She's from broadway not television.

Good for her.

Finallly got around to watching the first ep . . . and no way am I not checking out the next one.

I'm reluctant to say more, for fear of spoiling things, but I will say that, at this point, I was more interested in the adult characters than the teen ballerinas, but this episode was all about introducing Michelle (the displaced showgirl) so I'll give them time to flesh out the "bunheads" once all the set-up is over . . . .

Agreed.

I just finished the first episode earlier this evening and it caught me by surprise how much I liked it. I felt just a hint of Stars Hollow surrounding Paradise but then I was looking for comparisons... All in all, I'll be back.

Kelly Bishop still blows me away.

And that ending... Did not see it coming.

How what happened to youknow who has happened to plenty of people and they've still went on to play large parts in other productions...

One more week and then we say what happened?
