'Always Possibilities' Regarding ST:TE closure speech

I am quite sure that, if the movie does well, something else will pop up eventually. We'll probably have to wait for our economy to straighten out first, though.

I really, really hope that they don't put Michael Jackson there. The last thing I need is for him to be living here. Ugh.

Bad news. He lives on a ranch in Pahrump.
 
Wow.

I never been to or wanted to go to the Star Trek Experience in Vegas.

I thought it was going to be a *slaps hand on forehead* kind of thing.
But everyone here seemed to love and misses it.

Especially the atmosphere and the performers... I didn't know it was like that, I thought it was going to be a chinsey Six Flags kind of affair.

Reminds me of how the old Virtual World Battletech sites were so engaging and community oriented before they just licensed their games to Dave and Busters =(. Same games, but it wasn't the same immersive experience.

(if you know what I'm talking about give me a shout!)


Does Star Wars have an attraction? Maybe that's next...
An interesting concept would be spinning it off to Quark's Bar and having multiple locations. I don't know where the critical mass of Trek fans would be though.
 
I think Disney's been working with Star Wars at both Disney World and Disney Land. I've heard one of the companies that is hoping to purchase The Experience went in Friday and saved the Enterprise-A
