A resin kit, built out of the box in terms of parts, but I went nuts and made my own aztec decals. The only kit decals are the pennants on the engines.

I named her Gemini because it's a Constellation class, and none of the damn things on the show are named after Constellations!! And I'm a Gemini :). The NCC number is the year I was born plus 1000.

The art for the saucer aztecking decals is available at the link, if you want to give it a go.

"Doomsday Machine" aired in 1957?

My mom was born in 1957.

Great job on the model. I love the finish. Makes it looked like it served a hell of a tour out there!

Beautiful work there. I always find it odd when Constellation-Class ships aren't named for constellations, there are plenty of them out there :)

Wow. The same year "The Doomsday Machine" made its debut on NBC. Great work.

I named my hypothetical Constellation Class ship the Pawnee because they were a Native American culture with an affinity for astronomy.

And I happen to live on a street called Pawnee Ave! The coincidences just keep piling up!!

And when you run out of names that you can see from Earth, just go to another planet where all the constellations are different and pick new names from there. :vulcan::klingon::rommie::borg::bolian::cardie:

USS Fluffy the Targ! (A little known feature of Kronos' northern skies)

Nicely done. I've always been a fan of the Constellation-class since "The Battle".
