the plot?
In ACM, players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the ostensibly deserted U.S.S. Sulaco to uncover the fate of the crew.

If you've wanted to revisit the Sulaco here's your chance to walk around.

The game goes live February 12, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC - with a Wii U version expected at unspecified future date.

I'm surprised I couldn't find a thread on the Gaming forum for this highly anticipated game. A FPS with the scares of the 1986 film.

Me n a buddy of mine have been waiting since 2008 for this game, I cannot wait to tackle this on co-op ;)

Sega and Gearbox have been hit with a class-action lawsuit that accuses the companies of promoting gameplay demos of Aliens: Colonial Marines that were nothing like the game that actually got released.

According to the suit, filed in California district court this week, Sega and Gearbox knowingly used and relied upon "false statements about the game's development, design, quality, and features."

"At its core, this case is a classic bait-and-switch: Defendants promised consumers that they would receive a product with specific qualities and features, but then delivered something else entirely - to the tune of ill-gotten sales," according to the suit, which was filed on behalf of Pennsylvania resident Damion Perrine

The suit accuses both firms of false advertising, among other things. It seeks damages, injunctive relief, and a jury trial.
Only in the USA...

VideoGamer.com, the last of which posted a side-by-side comparison of the demos versus what was actually released,
see the 6:45 length video for a before and after (not side-by-side) comparison. and yes lighting and atmospheric effects (smoke/haze) make the world of difference...
