it was a mind boggling season 1

i wonder if the tv show alien earth is set in a alternate timeline that is almost exact alike from the original xeno morphs alien movies universe but with many differences

in other words i wonder if alien earth is set in a alternate reality that is simular to the timeline from the original xeno morphs alien movies but in alien earth its somewhat different from all the xeno morphs alien movies

Why so? What have we really seen about Earth in the Alien movies? To my understanding, all we really know is from character perspectives rather than the corporations. It seems to me the corporations have a great deal of control over information so it wouldn't be hard to even keep events like the one that happens in the beginning of the series from the general public. The news reports that a ship crashed, many people hurt, what a tragedy and scrubs any other information.

Honestly dude.... EVERY show or movie you comment on has the sentence "could it be alternate timeline/multiverse" in it. Stop. Just..... stop. Ok?

because alien earth kinda looks likes it was the orgins of how the xenomorphs and other aliens were 1st on earth while at the same time a reboot because how story started on earth but set in a alternate reality of the xenomorph alien multiverse because i do not think the xenomorphs aliens and those other aliens on that crashed on earth were ever mentioned in all of the xenomorphs alien movies unlese if you count the alien vs predator movies and the predator movies where the xenomorphs and predators were on earth for a very long time

Capital letters and punctuation marks.
Also, again, not everything needs to be an alternate universe or multiverse.

But there is nothing in the movies that contradicts Xenomorphs could have been on Earth at one point. We know next to nothing about Earth from those movies except that the company knew about their existence prior to the Nostromo crew bringing one aboard. We only know what the characters in the movies knew, and we knew Weyland-Yutani was keeping secrets from them. It can also be argued that the existence of the Xenomorphs was know prior to Promethues. Until something happens to contradict what we already know on screen from the main series of films then I am treating the series as an in-universe story.

I'm pretty sure that Noah Hawley specifically said at one point that they were ignoring Prometheus and Covenant, but I don't think there was anything in Season 1 that contradicted them or any of the other movies. It's been a little while since I watched the movies, but I think it was always a little vague exactly what Wayland-Yutani knew and when they knew it, so I think you could probably fit everything together. I know Prometheus seemed like it was supposed to be the origin of the Xenomorphs, but I think they had a ancient mural that appeared to show a Xenomorph, so there's pretty good chance they existed before the movie.

I didn't know he said that--but it's true that the movies are slim on world building and I think that is intentional because at their base level, they're slasher/horror films.
