Alicia Witt, Fairuza Balk, Helena Bonham Carter and Christina Ricci

Rowdy Roddy McDowall

It's high time those four made a film together, even if it's a retro recasting.* Old franchises or new concepts would be equally welcome. I invite all serious responses on projects as long as all four are mentioned. Of course, the most serious response I can think of at the moment is a RESERVOIR DOGS remake or sequel with Witt as the secret cop and H.B. Carter as the Keitelian action veteran. Perhaps Balk could be Ms. Pink while Ricci tackles Ms. Blonde.

Whether your choices are established or new, it's perfectly acceptable to add additional actors or actresses to the above four if it helps or stretches out your premise. For example, for those of you who may enjoy the distaff RESERVOIR DOGS, you might see fit to add four more talented actresses for the reimagining. If you want to recast an old movie with the four, that's fine. Time is no object. Film is eternal.

(*While it's true Balk and Ricci were both in a single music video, they never got to interact in it.)

Thanks.

I can think of a particular genre and general storyline I'd love to see all four of them in together.....

I recently watched The Craft, it being the choice of my teenage daughters, and thought it a shame that Balk came along too soon to play a live-action Harley Quinn (though if it wasn’t for Hollywood ageism/sexism she could’ve played the character opposite Joaquin Phoenix, being only a few months older than him).

Witt, being a redhead, would’ve been more suited to the role of Batgirl than her first-namesake, Ms Silverstone, but perhaps she and Balk could team up as Harley and another Gotham villain, namely Poison Ivy.

Ricci is a little younger than the others and with her image I could see her as Black Alice.

HBC is a bit older than the others - would she be a good fit for Nocturna?

I wonder if Alicia Witt ever has people go up to her on the street and ask her to say "And how can this be? For he is the KWISATZ HADERACH!" :guffaw:

Were you aware Witt turned down the Mary Jane Watson role for Raimi's SPIDER-MAN? While she can go wild at times, she may have seen it as too....clingy?

I knew she was in the running for the role but I’ve heard contrary rumours as to who turned it down or simply lost out. Kate Hudson was also in contention too, IIRC.
