Akira-Class Resin Model (Pictures!)

I suck at models, even worse at resin, but I recently hired a fellow to be my builder for such things, and thought I'd share his progress report pictures with you all. He's going to be making a small mint off of me from now on.

And yes, those BSG guns are mine also.

The Akira-class looks sweet.


But more importantly, who made the BSG guns? They don't look like either the Matsocorp or the Sci-Fi Models version.

Wow, looks great so far. Going to be more pics once its finished? I noticed the shuttlebay doors aren't there yet. Would be nice to see more modelers out there making Akira resins.

I've got no idea. I bought them both on e-Bay, both where already made and painted. But they where inaccurate and one had some scratches. I'm meeting Olmos in 3 weeks, and wanted them accurate because I'm having him sign the early-seasons model. So I had him re-finish them, fix them, what not.
