I actually liked Insurrection.

I will also say this: It has some great sound. Cue up that scene where Picard, Data and Anij enter the holoship and a Son'a starts shooting at them. It sounds kickass on a good surround sound system.

I wonder, though, if Anthony Zerbe is tired of playing characters who die horrible and agonizing onscreen deaths. Anyone who's seen Licence to Kill will know what I mean.

Licence to Kill is referenced in the recap. It's an okay recap, though it beats one over the head at points and reads too much phallic significance into the So'na plot device starship. The Darmok gag is priceless, though.

I also liked Insurrection. It's a schizoprenic film with bad humour but it has redeeming qualities.

I was glad I only paid $2.99 for the VHS tape.

It just didn't feel like it should have been a movie. Maybe a 2 or 3 part episode..

I feel Insurrection is the worst Trek movie ever made, but I also think it has one of the coolest posters ever.

I give Generations a pass because it has the opening scenes with Kirk and co. Plus by virtue of it being on the D, I love it.

Love Insurrection though, it's my favorite TNG film.

It's so cool they reused it for Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country.

Insurrection is interesting. You can take any 10 minute section of the film and it's pretty darned good. Most bad movies can't claim that.

The problem comes when you string all the 10-minute clips all together and try and watch them in order. Doesn't work so well that way.

I also thought Insurrection was quite a interesting movie, although i was actually expecting picard and crew to actually be taking on the federation in a bigger way, but still the Son'a were not to bad and it had F Murry Abraham's and Antony zebra in it which made it even better.
