Adwcleaner removal problems

I was trying to remove it from my computer via administrative privileges and it's only partially gone. Part of the file is still there on my regular account. And it keeps on saying (even after I put in the password correctly) that I need administrative privileges to remove it.

How can I get rid of it for good?

I see.

I think it might be due to it still running on my task manager. I'm going to try logging off and logging back on to see if I can remove it the rest of the way. I can't access the program itself anymore, at least not in the way that Microsoft mentioned.

I'll let you guys know if it works.

Edit: It worked! I logged back in and the icon loaded normally, so I was able to right click and delete it and then delete it from the recycle bin. It's gone.

Already uninstalled it via my administrator account. So all I had to do (at least from what I could tell) was delete it the rest of the way.

Well good! That stuff can be a mess to deal with, glad it's all cleaned out. :)
