ADVICE ON A PARTICULAR EPISODE

Thanks for allowing me to post on your board, just have a quick favour to ask about a particular STNG episode in which from vague memory the Federation council on earth gets effected by some alien race as is threatened to be taken over and make some controverial decisions which alert the STNG Crew. Would anyone know it's series and episode number.

Also wondering if there were any way in aquiring any of the shows from the new fan produced series , New Voyages, being produced that have starred former ST actors such as Walter Koenig. If these can be purchased or traded for on DVD I would really appreciate advice on where to start locating them.

I believe the TNG episode you're referring to is "Conspiracy" season 1, episode 25.

And it's not the Federation Council that's taken over, it's Starfleet Command. The Federation is a government, Starfleet the military organization that serves that government.

I'm also pretty sure that the episode you're referring to is Conspiracy from the first season. With regards to New Voyages and other Fan Films, we have a whole forum dedicated to them. Swing on by when you have a chance, the production folks there would love to hear from you.

"Conspiracy" was pretty graphic: I recently rewatched it and was quite surprised. I read once that it was the one episde that came with a parental warning attached, but not sure how true that is.

100% true. I remember that being the only TNG episode that did so.

There have been a few more recently on the new BSG.
