Advice for where to sell large collection?

I have a large Star Trek collection (60's-2000's) that I need to sell due to health issues. It includes everything from magazines and books, to film strips, posters, photos, models, trade cards, fan fiction, plates, etc. About 700 items. It would be great for a Star Trek collector or a reseller. I can't sell each item individually. Any advice on where to advertise or how to sell? The collection is in CT and I have a spreadsheet.
Many thanks in advance.

It's sad to hear that you have to sell your collection, as a collector myself I can't imagine that being fun.

Perhaps you could get in contact with some auction rooms in your area, see if anywhere could handle such a large collection and would be able to cater for such a niche. [After all, you need it to be seen my Trekkies who will actually pay fairly for it.]

You may also wish to search for a STAR TREK Meet Up site in your area, to get some dealing done. All the Best!

Sadly, the market for Trek collectibles is pretty weak these days. I have thousands of items in my collection, and I'd be thrilled to get 10% of what I've spent on them.

If your intent is to clear space of collectibles, you should be able to do that. If you're hoping for retirement funds, well, you are likely to be disappointed.

Unless you're prepared to go into the business of packing and shipping them to eBay buyers, and hoping to break even on postage, your best bet is to sell your entire collection to a dealer for whatever they will give you.
