Actors with great Voices

EnriqueH

Commodore
Commodore
BESIDES James Earl Jones...whose speaking voice do you admire?

I've always been a fan of Ricardo Montalban's classy, precise yet undeniably Latin flavor whenever he spoke.

Keye Luke

Bruce Lee (that's his voice you hear in Enter the Dragon and The Green Hornet, not in his Hong Kong flicks which were dubbed by other voice actors)

Philip Ahn

Patrick Stewart

I've always loved Michael Cain's voice.

And Lauren Bacall, of course.

Morgan. Freeman.

Oh, also Alan Rickman.

But, it's annoying me. I was watching something with my son recently and commented on someone whose voice I loved hearing, but now I can't think of it!

Morgan Freeman did play God in a movie. Perfect casting choice.

Other actors who I like:

Tom Hanks
Patrick Stewart
Helen Mirran
Maggie Smith
Alan Rickman

Still wondering who I thought of, but someone else I like is James Spader. Good casting choice for having him voice Ultron. "There are no strings on me," was chilling.

Since we had a thread about him a while back, I'll add Mark Hamill.

Lots of voice work in animated shows, almost always indistinguishable as Mark.

Percy Rodrigues had a voice that could mesmerize me or scare the #%^* out of me.

Brother Theodore did both simultaneously.

Mark Lenard had a great speaking voice.

Mark Lenard and Percy Rodrigues did an episode of Planet of the Apes called "The Tyrant. Two beautiful voices doing most of the acting coming from behind heavy masks.

Besides Lauren Bacall, other ladies with husky, smoky voices: Sally Kellerman, Lizabeth Scott, Lauren Hutton, Joan Greenwood.

On the male side: Raymond Massey's rich, plummy baritone. Jack Palance's throaty growl, perfect for telling spook stories. And the late, great Geoffrey Holder.

John Rhys-Davies
Ian McKellan
Derek Jacobi
Alan Rickman
Patrick Stewart
Judi Dench
Maggie Smith
Ian McShane
Brian Blessed
Tommie Lee Jones
Avery Brooks
Michael Ironside
Tim Curry
Frank Langella
Clancy Brown
Christopher Walken
Liam Neeson
Patrick Warburton
Anthony Hopkins
Hugo Weaving
Gerard Butler
Sigourney Weaver
Rufus Sewell
Tom Selleck
Sam Elliot

Many have already been mentioned, so I'll just add:

Terence Stamp
Laurence Fishburne
Peter Dinklage
Ken Watanabe
George Takei
Nichelle Nichols
Lorne Greene
Anthony Head

I would list among my favorites:

Patrick Stewart
Cate Blanchett
David Tennant
Viva Bianca
Samuel L. Jackson
Charlie Hunnam
Liam Neeson
