Action Comics Discussion (Spoilers) Paul Cornell Goodness

Has anyone been reading Action Comics since Paul Cornell took over? It's been pretty insane for the most part and a fascinating character study on Lex who of course is the star of the book and will be for quite some time. In order to give himself a conscience he has been himself an android of Lois Lane. I have quite honestly been enjoying this book over JMS's Superman, Cornell is just pure fun and every issue has Lex facing a premiere DCU villain. The Action Comics Annual this year features Lex's first meeting with Darkseid and Ra's al Ghul. Death from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" books is the focus of next issue.

It's been a fun read. I always like it when villains fight each other. Plus, it ties into Green Lantern so that's cool. I love that Lex has a Lois sex robot. And yeah it's definitely better than JMS Superman (which is a bad idea) or Supergirl (which I enjoy).

Cant say I really like the Lois robot at all. Would a man as powerful as Luthor really settle for an unreal Lois by his side? I think not. I did enjoy Grodd and his battle spoon and am enjoying the whole dark ring arc, but robot Lois is just not doing it for me.

^ You forget though that Lex is a megalomaniac and a sociopath so it fits into his character perfectly. His logic is, I can't get the real thing so I'll do the next best thing and make a perfect duplicate of her. Lois is not just his sex bot but meant to be act as his conscience as well. I love the fact that his primary objective is to relocate the power ring, his obsession with power and the use of power is perfectly written by Cornell. I can't wait until he starts interacting with Superman which I believe Paul said will start happening in the second or third arc.
