"Ace of Cakes" makes TOS cake

On the newest episode of "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network tonight, they made a cake replica of the TOS bridge with the bridge crew. The groom is a Trekkie. They even showed a picture of him as a kid in full TOS outfit; gold shirt, phaser, etc.
They always repeat the show during the week. Check your local listings.

Yeah the one that aired the other night was a repeat. Plus, the cake, while impressive, got a few geek details wrong. Scotty at the Navigator's station and Uhura at the Engineering station on the bridge. Still, it was nice to see.

I've tried to watch Ace of Cakes but the receptionist drives me crazy. She keeps telling stories about potential customers being shocked at how much they charge for cakes or turning customers away like it is something to be proud of. She has the biggest ego on the show and only answers the phone.

Hey, it was new to me!! I must have missed it the first time around. I like the show. I must admit that sometimes I envy him. He hired his best friends to work with him and loves his job. Can any of us honestly say that?
