Got this cookie at a bakery!

My brain has been poisoned by Trek forever.

That looks like a malformed pretzel.

"Kraklingen" cookie. They're usually longer and skinnier pretzel-shaped loops of flaky dough, covered with course sugar. Local place makes them. Delish!!! This one was malformed.
