Only thing interested in sampling is the Park Avenue show--the rest of the line up is crap. I guess Zero Hour is a midseason show. 2012-13 looks to be shaping up to be as disappointing as this year'sfall debuts. NBC and FOX have nothing in the fall premiering I'm interested in and ABC has one show. And there is no returning show on any network I care about--oh well.

Looks like they probably just killed Last Man Standing. It was slipping badly in the ratings anyway, moving it to Friday will probably be the nail in the coffin. I was hoping they'd make it part of the Weds night line-up. Oh well.

They're hoping to rebuild their old TGIF comedy block and the thinking is that Last Man Standing and Malibu Country will play well to older viewers and that portion of the family audience who are at home on Friday nights. It may not work, but it's solid reasoning and has a shot.

They shouldn't break up Once Upon a Time and 666 Park Ave with a non-fantasy series like Revenge. 666 would benefit from the direct lead-in of a more directly compatible series. Maybe it needs the 10pm slot because it's too sexy and violent for 9pm? That would actually be a good thing. I just hope the OUaT audience remembers to check it out.

Well I hope so. While I understand it's not great "emmy worthy" TV, I still found it to be an enjoybable show. Hope they bring Mike Rowe back for more guest appearances. And I've always really liked Hector Elizondo in most anything he does.

I wonder how they're going to advertise Last Resort, with this very soaps-heavy drama lineup. As a lead-in to Gray's Anatomy, that suggests a soapier ad campaign, one that emphasizes the "sailors who look real good in uniform, marooned in a romantic tropical paradise" angle vs the sci fi/military/political angle.

I'm real curious to see the trailer for that one in particular, to see how they're playing it up. They could easily have two completely different ad campaigns, depending on where they're advertising the show.

I guess Zero Hour will step in at midseason depending on what show gets the axe.

Castle and Once Upon a Time are really the only ones I'll watch. Although I do enjoy Shark Tank from time to time though. Everything else, meh.

Here's a story that covers why 666 Park Ave got the nod over the other magical shows (it was the darkest - yay!) And ABC's theme for this season:

As for ABC’s entire lineup for next season, Lee’s tagline is “Why just watch when you can feel,” which he says emphasizes the network series’ emotional connection.
I wonder what the taglines would be for the other networks?

CBS: Same shit, different season.
FOX: We'll come up with something better for Kiefer, soon.
NBC: Just watch something - PLEASE!

Oh noooo, Starz is Sex & Blood & Sleaze R Us. HBO is snob appeal. Showtime is hey we're snob appeal, too! AMC: snob appeal for a basic cable price.

Huh. The only thing mildly interesting to me is 666 Park Avenue. The networks don't seem to have to offer this time around.

Yeah that one is by far the most interesting for fall. Depending on how the trailer looks (not insipid or idiotic, no laugh track), I might check out The Neighbors too.

I'll check out 666 Park Ave and Last Resort...everything else...blah. Zero Hour too but that's mid season. My Dad loves Reba McEntire so I know where to find him on Friday nights.

The Neighbors - Sometimes I really wonder what networks are thinking when they greenlight stuff. Simply horrible.

Nashville - There's an easy way to tell whether this show is for you. Can you tell the difference between Connie Britten's good-ole country music and Hayden Panettiere's bad/sell-out/no-talent type? I couldn't.

Last Resort - I'm always leery of series that depend on some Big Conspiratorial Secret, I'm not sure how one sub has the firepower to hold of the entire American arsenal, and how is Mr. Peacenik Andre Braugher going to make any credible threats if he objects to killing innocents? Does he know the exact location of the bunker containing all the Bad People Who Are Behind All of This? But I'm curious enough that I'll give this one a shot.

666 Park Ave - Okay kiddies, when you're told that the previous manager "moved someplace warmer," that's your cue to run for your life, not to mention your immortal soul. :rommie: Looks like a total hoot, I'm in.

Zero Hour - National Treasure meets Indiana Jones meets The DaVinci Code. And don't tell me that cute lil baby is the antichrist? Awww. Another total hoot, I'm in.

I'm glad to see GCB gone. Even when they were promoting the hell out of it, I thought this show was going to be bad. Glad I was proven right.
