A Truly Pressing Concern For The Global Community

So, as an American, who's never used a bidet, I'll go on record saying that a post-soiled butt wash is rather ingenious, but my issue is... Where is this water coming from? I assume the same plumbing line that fills the toilet, which is fine, except that toilet water is damn cold, especially in the snowy tundra that is an upstate NY winter. So, then I'd hope the spout which shall blast my ejection port is routed from the hot water line, like my sinks/shower.

However, as we all know, hot water doesn't just respond from the tap on a second's notice. So, no matter the circumstance, the outcome seems certain that my tenderest orifice is destined to be hosed with ice water, & while I admit, it's not the worst thing that could happen back there, it's still an option worthy of a pass in my book

So where do you stand on this dilemma & the concerns I've broached, regarding it?

Well... from my modest amount of traveling, I noticed that in countries where bidets are common, it's not too difficult to get fancier ones that let you control the temperature and make the water warmer.
