This might be the wrong forum, but it logically pertains...
I might be biased, but I think the novel "Prime Directive" by the Reeves-Stephens to be an excellent followup to the reboot.
It has all the elements neccassary(?) for excellent Trek, with all the originals, and keeping true to what Trek is all about.
"Prime Directive" is one of my personal favorite novels, and I think it would best be served having a writer do the screenplay, if not the R-S's themselves
Or maybe KRAD, Mr Mack, Mr Ward, Garamet, Mr Bennett, et al.
