A Single Man

Haven't seen much mention of this in threads on trekbbs.

Saw it last week and was flabbergasted that a firsttime director could do so well. With only one weak bit of casting, the film is really a standout (has to be, was self-financed) and maybe the only great new movie I've seen since CHILDREN OF MEN.

I hope to go see it next week. I adore Colin Firth, and this is supposed to be the best role of his career.

I also have the book on hold at the library...can't wait to read it!
